I had a dream where I was fighting an old raid against an Old God boss that didn’t exist.
The Old God was named X’??? Where the question marks were 3~4 letters I wasn’t paying attention to. They were a purple eyeball sitting in a white and gold robotic donut shaped pedestal.
The fight took place in two rooms. The upper room where the old god was, which was decorated in opulent whites and golds; and a lower room that was darker and more utilitarian.
The first phase of the fight took place in the lower room as waves of ordinary crustaceans were being drawn to the far wall, where they would transform into your typical old-god enemies.
If you succeeded in defeating a wave without any of the crustaceans reaching the other side, the old god’s robotic pedestal would fail, and the eye would float into the air radiating a void aura.
At this point you would head to the upper floor and fight more adds, which were some kind of void slime monsters. Once the void slime was dead the old god would drop to the floor, aura gone, and be vulnerable to attack.
After the old god was defeated he would start gathering energy and you had to retreat down to the stairs to avoid dying to the ensuing void explosion.
Then you looted him, and went further down the hall to pick up a quest that would reward you with some kind of tan goat mount when turned in to Thalyssra.
Anyways that’s the boss fight my subconscious designed. Do with that information what you will.
