I don't understand this Twitch stuff. Explain it to me like I'm 4

Pretty much this, there’s a “active campaigns” drop down that will show you which streams to watch for what prizes in the “DROPS ENABLED” streams you fill a progress bar (usually 2 hours or 3)

So yeah, link your accounts, find the active campaigns area and click a channel that is “dropping” the prize you want to unlock

Once the progress bar is filled it turns to “CLAIM” and clicking that will give you the (whatever) in game

(Make sure you get ublock origins plugin, twitch is a cesspool of advertising, not that you’ll hear it when you mute stream but do you really want to give those people money?)

basically it’s a site like youtube with people who stream.

For the drops you have to make sure you link your accounts. Same with youtube. If you do this for overwatch you may be familiar with drops.

You will have to claim drops that drop from twitch in the drops section of the website where it tracks your progress.

You gain progress by watching people under the category of world of warcraft. Which can be done with a quick search bar search.

You can go to twitch.tv and check for yourself now what types of streams there are. Maybe someone interesting to follow for the campaign.

You can have your streams going on a tab while you play. I usually keep them in low volume. Sometimes I’ll watch. As overwatch tends to have some nice content occasionally. It’s nice to see the chat trolling streamers sometimes.

You see, Twitch stopped hosting WoW add-ons while not anticipating just how many WoW users only installed it for that reason. These giveaways are an attempt to gain back some of those who uninstalled Twitch the minute the add-ons went away.

Link your battlenet account to your twitch account
Join a stream that has !drops enabled
Spam !drops in the chat for 4 hours
Then claim the drop

How do you know if a stream has drops? Does it say once you click on it or do you have to type that in the chat?

Step 1. Make a twitch account
Step 2. Link it to your bnet(YouTube vids and articles on Google on how to do this)
Step 3. When the drops become active during the times blizzard stated we need to watch, open a new browser window, go onto twitch and under the World of Warcraft game section watch any stream that has drops enabled which you will see right under the little screen each streamer has when your’re looking at the WoW section
Step 4. Mute the stream and put the quality to the lowest possible.
Step 5. Check back occasionally to see if they are still streaming and if they are not simply find another stream with drops and afk again
Step 6. You will see a little red 1 on a little container above the twitch chat once the 4 hours is up, click that and claim the drop.

Coming from a young person, I will translate this for you.

From what I gather, anyone is eligible, as long as you watch four hours or two hours depending on the day and it is DF content, then yes, you get the mount stuff. I don’t understand it 100% really either I just think if you link it to your BNET to your twitch and mute the audio of the stream and do other things then you[re good.

Lol, I did this for the WOW esports thing, all for a stupid title.

Similar to linking Blizz account with phone for free bag slot, but now we need a team of lawyers and a rep from HR to moderate the language when the F bombs start flying trying to figure it out. I’m old too =(

I usually watch Hazel, Jak or Max consistently so no big deal there. Half the time just to have some background noise while I play WoW or something else. Don’t mind donating a couple of subs as that’s roughly what a pet on the Blizz store would cost anyway and it helps out that streamer that is basically entertaining you for free lol.

How much is minimal donated sub?

I think $4.99 per donated sub, so if I’m correct (never donated a sub before) that’s right at $10 USD which is what pets go for on the Blizz store.

You go watch the thing and the thing give you the things

And one thing you have to give things while watching the thing to get. Many moving things that must be thought about.

yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of “Okay now if Twitch compromises my personal information, is my Blizzard personal information compromised too?” I think I’ll just pass on pet instead of giving yet another corporation my CC info.
