I love wow pvp but I recognize wow is pve game. Pvp is just something else to do like petbattles.
For those who hate pve but likemmorpg, try out guild wars 2. The devs did a great job dividing the pvp part of the game from the pve. In GW2, you can queue up from a pvp lobby, a separate instance for different bgs, interact with players. Your level is scaled up to max with everything unlocked. Gear is normalized. Its where new skillful pvp players go to.
(The ones that arenāt in bold are whatās different, iām not going to count the little mistake with ālikemmorpgā though)
Also, how you fail to understand PvP Only players but your in a guild called āOmni PvPā?
Thatās like being a Pet Battle guild called āGotta catch them allā and donāt understand Pet Battle only players.
As for Guild Wars 2, i like that game, i like the PvE side of things. I havenāt tried PvP cause iām not interested into that much as PvE (that and i havenāt gotten very far into the game.)
I like WoW PvP well enough, though I would hesitate to label it as anything other than āliteā. Itās fun for a toss now and then, the random battleground or keeping War Mode on (always get so much salt from Hordies who die to a Gnome!)
I do think Blizzard will need to reintroduce PvP vendors and gear in order to entice more players to remain and return. From all sources it seems to be a highly contentious issue for that subsect of gamers.
At this point I would say youāre right. Blizzard only seems to be interested in creating e-sport like game content that supports their games as a marketable sports franchise.
