I’ve tried picking it up the last 3 xpacs and I really like the theme. I cant stand DnD though. I enjoy all the specs for the most part but have no idea how they really work apart from Frost. These are mostly unholy questions, am I supposed to press outbreak first or just let pets auto apply? Do I DnD on single target for the haste? Is it even worth applying wounds if mobs will die quick or do i just DnD Scourge strike? Help.

You always want to use outbreak if your not using raise abomination or dark transformation during a pull. You don’t even bother using dnd on single target 3+ is when you use it. With wounds if the enemy on the brink of death then no but wounds should be on your enemies all the time for but of damage they give, festermight. In AOE they are so much more important but you still do want them in single.
Go look at videos on YouTube. Unholy is not too difficult once you get the swing of it and understand how our abilities work together.

You can use it but to get the most out of dnd/defile using it with a group of targets is always better and you get more out of this ability. Using defile with only one target is fine but dnd/defile really shines with 3+ enemies.
Unholy Death Knight:
Dungeons: By the time your Dots stack, pets un bug and start attacking. Other DPS has already killed the Mob.
Raids: You have to stick and move and deal with the Melee dance, but you have zero Melee attacks that do Real Damage.
Cast DnD, throw green fireballs, constantly make your stupid pet be Hulk for 7secs.
