I dont think I can ever quit WoW

Runescape, WoW, Wolfteam and Combat Arms were not only the first PC games I ever played, but the first online games.

Ill admit no matter how bad WoW gets, I dont think i can truly ever quit it. Maybe just, go back to OSRS or something.

thats it, thats the thread

Well, do you want to quit WoW?

Taking breaks is fine.

You can do eeeet!!!

You’d be surprised. It doesn’t always occur as a major ragequit followed by an uninstall or account deletion.

No, it can start with you just not being in the mood to login for one night and playing something else instead. That one night turns into a few days during which you might just login to check on your alts or your mail. Then, those days turn into a week or a month, and then bam–you’re not really playing WoW anymore.

I thought that way until Shadowlands, I’ve played this game since beta for Vanilla and I uninstalled for the first time over the weekend. There was no rage, no anger just pure apathy towards what the game has become. It’s dead, the people who made a once great game have long since left the company and the people running it now are simply not good at their jobs outside of the art team.

I started with runescape, wolfteam and wow as well as some other games. I was looking for wolfteams name a while ago as i had forgotten it. Thanks for reminding me

Don’t encourage him. He said he won’t quit.

I wish I knew how to quit WoW!

I’m not quitting WoW either.

i take breaks but for me it’s easier because i’d be saving money i could put to better use. ontop of that very few in my state play WoW so it’s hard just to meet people outside of the game. doesn’t help either that my work schedule varies so pretty much dedicated groups is 50/50 for me. some days i get last minute stuff that comes up other days no.

You need something else in your life. Quitting into a vacuum wont work, you need something to replace it. Try online education, scour youtube for stuff see what interests you, other games, sports, w/e. Become an engineer and make the worlds next A.I. Robot that does more than just clean the floors etc.
