I don’t own a strider and prolly never will so this change seems pretty handy to me.

I never bothered to get one.

But then again, my mains have been warlock(…ride on water glyph! :frowning: RIP) or druid soooooo. Just not worth the effort really for how little I’d use it, even on other characters.

Nobody owns a strider mount club. Strider mounts get clubbed with regular clubs.

Well i bothered to get 1 of the Strider’s. blizz better not do away with it either. There will be an uproar if thats the case. Bank on it.

What about a club for those with both? Red for horde blue for alliance toons.

Just one of those things people need to be mad about.

Couldn’t find anything else to be upset over with 8.2, so they made sure to find anything they could.

The blue one is really easy to get when panda land time walking is up. You can buy rep tokens with time walking badges in order to get the mount instead of fishing for the rep.

Well, go get one then. Angler rep is one of the easiest in the game. Three dailies that give like 1500 rep each. Ridiculously fast, actually. My mage just got her iceberg recently - took like 2 weeks.

As a hunter i just have a water strider pet that casts waterwalking on me so i’ve always had the ability to ride any of my mounts on water.

I burnt through my badges last time to get the cloud serpants and didnt hold value to the strider cuz I didnt like how they look… I like Timewalking even less unless its on a alt.

If you do 1 timewalking dungeon on 6 different toons, then save badges for MoP TW, you get the water strider. I feel like it’s really not difficult.

except you get the waterwalking mount equipment from the same rep you get the waterstrider from.

I never bothered to get one either tho.

I can’t remember but I think the Angler’s give you a red one. You can fish up a blue one in the Garrison cave. The iceberg is mage only raft.

Oh yeah, get the raft along with the strider. That may be the drunk bastidge fisherman rep…watshisname.
