The dragon flight model was not 8’s, they dropped in 16’s for season 2 and 3 and 6’s in season 4. people who put forth the desire for them to be released on 8’s are representing the people who don’t even want it to be changed but can see the ship sinking.

I’m short on play time and not a top 5% player and I’m already doing 9s. If you can’t see the carrot then focus on a closer carrot, like maxing out heroic gear and learning the dungeons/your class better.

Well that made me laugh I wish I could give you more than just a thumbs up.

Bug Bunny will take your carrot

No, but you are likely in the top 7.9% range…so its silly to act like this is an easy feat for your average player.

According to https://raider.io/mythic-plus/cutoffs/season-tww-1/us the 50% rate is pretty much +2s

I don’t see an issue. +2s give good gear and are a decent challenge. I never said this was an easy feat for the average player. I don’t think the best loot should be easy for average players, it should be a challenge. My guild is finishing heroic raiding and heading into mythic soon. They almost certainly won’t get CE. None of them are salty about this.

Ok so imagine in next patch that despite your raid being able to presumably clear some mythic bosses the raid difficulty spikes to the point where you are now hard stuck on mid heroic. While at the same time M+ is given a weekly stacking buff to make it easier to time dungeons each week.

Wouldn’t this feel wrong to you? Because this is where a lot of people are sitting.

But its worse than that as you have a guild that is going to be there every week. So to add to your difficulties imagine you were trying to pug mythic raid during that time and all of the slots where being filled instead by people who were doing M+ instead and you sat for an hour or even two and finally log of never having even seen a boss.

Thats what M+ players are feeling at the moment.

Despite being around 2350 IO and having 615 ilvl I still get declined more often than not from +7’s. And as you can see I’ve timed every +7 so experience isn’t an issue. Thats as a tank dps have it far worse.

Problem with a carrot on the stick is that you never actually get the carrot.

what about the players that already ate the carrot, we need a longer stick

Are you able to learn? If so, learn the dungeons and your spec. If not enjoy tasting the ground in keys instead of gear.

Heroic gear drops in 7s but requires gilded crests from 9s to fully upgrade, and 9s that give M ilvl gilded crests don’t give you M vault gear. It makes no sense at all.

I cant see the carrot where is the carrot?

Can we address m+ issues asap? Blizzard now, go into notepad and write down some notes, post em so people are happy and season is saved. Just copy paste whatever people in the forums yapp about

If my guild can’t finish heroic by the time they get to 620+, then they’re in the right place. If you can’t complete 9s/10s, you won’t get the last few ilevels that better players are getting.

And building and maintaining a raid group and showing up on time is more effort than pugging. I’ve pugged the last 3 seasons to 3k and was a raider for a decade. Raiding mythic bosses is not less effort than pugging to +10.

I think there’s room to adjust specific dungeons, especially certain bosses and trash mechanics. I think the extra death timer is too harsh with how tight some timers are. But I’m talking about leveling nerfs, not just handing out free max level loot like previous seasons.

Indeed you won’t find me saying otherwise. Most of the difficulty of mythic raiding lies not in the bosses or their mechanics, particularly early ones, but rather in having a stable roster and working around the limitations imposed on it such as the lockout.

This is part of why M+ has always been so popular because you can pug it to the highest ends.

If the raid difficulty changed this drastically next patch everyone here knows that the raider would be up in arms and there would be a mass exodus. And they would likewise be angry at people telling them to get good when they have been good enough half a decade or more.

I used it as a devise so that you could see where other players are coming from. If you can’t well, nothing much to discuss then.

They need to go back further than that like shadowlands model
