False. The currency would be used to buy rewards held by a vendor that anyone can access. The currency I’m suggesting would be passively gained by doing anything, sort of like Azerite Energy. There would be an extensive list of rewards available with this currency and other rewards tied to specific activities.

I previously suggested placing most major content rewards on a vendor that deals in universal currency that players receive in different quantities for virtually every in-game activity they perform.

This and player housing would be fantastic for a solo player.

Maybe a procedurally-generated zone that changes every time you explore it.

This got a little off track.

I’d love to see a better solo pillar of character progression. Zereth Mortis was a good stepping stone toward it and I hope DF adds something less chaotic.

My favorite feeling is when I can do whatever I want in the game (within reason of course) and feel like I’m getting somewhere with my character if enough time or effort is put in.

Also, is it just me or does it feel like RNG has become too much of a focus for every reward structure?

It would make more sense to reward people for any activities in which they choose to engage, making all content in the game optional by allowing all content to award various amounts of a universal currency or reputation that can be used to obtain these desired rewards.
