Play female toons. Anyone else share this? And the amount of guys that do it is alarming to me too… it’s not because i’m trying to flirt with people who I find out are guys…I know someone is already typing that.

It just seems off even in an RPG game. If you want to be trans that’s one thing, if you play female and say “to look at my butt” that is a lame excuse dude, don’t you got an irl girl or something?

I have over 40 toons and 1 is a female. I never log into her and I regret making her because it doesn’t feel right to me (imo).

That’s like asking why male authors write female characters.

It’s an RPG, not every character has to be a reflection of ourselves. I like to RP and make multiple characters with different personalities.

Hah. I’m extremely secure. I make mostly male toons, but all of my clothies are female. It seems to me that you may be young and immature, or insecure. But this post made me laugh so thank you for that.

I mostly play female characters in this game because a lot of them look a lot better than the male counterparts.

If the male looks like a walking beefcake with a sword the size of California, you betcha I’m making them (Male Kul’Tiran)

But I like roleplaying something that isn’t myself. Dedaru here has a VERY extensive backstory and gives me a story-telling challenge.

It’s quite fun. But yeah I can quote someone saying

It’s just something I like to do.

You might even say that men living in a society that sees women as sexual objects first and foremost feel the need to invent justifications acceptable within that framework to avoid ridicule for identifying with people seen as “lesser.”

But that is, of course, dirty dirty ess-jay-dubyoo talk, so I’m sure no one is saying that, right?
