I don't like Undermine content - am I the minority?

This is my 2nd night in the new Undermine content, and tbh, I feel like it’s torture. Now to be fair, I’m running around on my big cow druid (my main since 2008) and trying to find quest givers inside of 3 flights of floors, in closed buildings, it absolutely difficult for me

Am I the only one?

I came here to the forums to see what others are feeling about undermine, and other than the word “slop” I keep seeing, I don’t see anything constructive.

I’m looking at my map, and I’m about 60% as far as “discovering” the map content here. Does it get better? Or maybe this content just isn’t for me…

I like the music. I think they did a nice job in the design of the zone for the Goblins.

I hate DRIVE. I dislike the setup of the place and how cramped it is. I didn’t like the main campaign, thought it was dumb. And I have zero interest in side storylines.

All I care about is the black trench coat, but not sure I can stand being down there long enough to get it. The place gives me headaches.

Neither the concept nor the gameplay really blow up my skirt. And the music is very out-of-place.

I love the setting, the music, and the atmosphere. The revolution quest chain was one of the most enjoyable in years. I don’t really like the car, but it feels awesome ripping around on my chopper.

If it isn’t for you though, that’s your opinion, and it’s as valid as anyone else’s.

What’s funny is the best solution we have for closurphobia in wow is at the bottom of the sea. :world_map::robot:

Based on the likes on the comment ratio and the reddit reception, yeah you’re the minority. We like different things but the majority of the community are widely in favor of undermine, myself included. No hard feelings, we like different things. If you really hate it you can take a break until we get another generic shadow elf expansion or whatever

I’m not a huge fan of the zone, but that’s mainly because all of my favorite WoW zones are massive open expanses with lots of green, this new zone is pretty much the opposite of what i like. I’ll do the campaign and then ignore it.

Dislike goblins, dislike the car, sitting this one out but will be back next season more than likely.

I learned a new travel system already, not too hyped to learn another, hopefully, more temporary one.

I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts because something tells me we’re going to get inundated with elves for a while, and I’m not looking forward to that.

how much effort did it take you to learn 3 buttons?

I have one arm. Getting set up on dragonriding was already more annoying than I would have liked.

Either way the main reason I am not into the patch is my general dislike of Goblin themes.

how much effort would it have taken to keep scrolling?

Seems the content isn’t just for you. I am loving it!

This the online interaction you wanna have?

Dislike goblin themes, don’t wanna use the car. Simple as.

I do have a very overloaded mouse, I just don’t want to use the car or interact with a theme I dislike. My initial comment was insanely benign.

I didn’t like all of Dragonflight. Blizzard can’t write millennia old dragons. They all felt like teens and young adults with family issues. So I get why people don’t like every zone, or story, or part of the game. I’m stoked for goblin stuff though, its about time.

I was actually talking about “learning” dragon riding. I’m assuming you have abilities linked to the buttons on your keyboard so all you would need to do is have the same numbers on the dragonriding bar. There is absolutely nothing to learn.

TBF, a long lived race, a 500 year old dragon would be a teenager in their age. Maybe still a child. Like how Grogu in star wars is a 50 year old baby. Why? Because his species live up to 900+ years old

Even worse for the bronze dragonflight. The babies have a tendency to not control their time powers and accidentally turn old out of nowhere.

TBF, a teenager wouldn’t act like a teenager if they were 500 year olds. It doesn’t matter at what point in their life cycle they were, what matters is life experiences and lifestage cycles.

The aspects are over 20,000 years old though. They didn’t feel wise or some of the oldest beings on Azeroth or the universe. I just couldn’t get into it. The gameplay, dungeons etc, kept me going.

Mostly to my mouse and an onscreen keyboard tool.
An ancient Razor 24 button that has not failed me in years.

Ok. I never said it was hard, or commented on such in terms of difficulty.
The car does nothing for me, I have no desire to learn it regardless of the ease. why would I put any effort into an optional thing in my life that holds no interest when there is plenty else to do that does?

This the hill you wanna choose?
