I also detest the yak mount. I refuse to buy one even though they’re useful, because the thing is just so ugly. Blizz needs to go full water strider on the yak mount - make a piece of mount equipment that adds a transmog vendor to ANY mount! Then we can all transmog with true freedom and individuality.

I have to agree, the mount is ugly. But it does its job.

Remember when not everyone had one? And if you did you were the cool guy with the vendor mount

I do this anyways. Why wait for people lol? There’s transmog NPCs in every city, plus the yak mount is cheap in today’s gold terms.

Yeah, the only time I wait for people to use my yak is if I know them and they ask. Otherwise, when I’m ready to go, I and right out!

Visually it’s a bit annoying, I guarantee.

It’s funny that I don’t wanna contribute to the visual clutter and I start to use somebody else’s yak to transmog
 and as soon as the person realizes that I’m using it they literally dismount. :confounded:

I’d love a less intrusive option, at least for me. Maybe an engineering toy with the same functions? Idk

The brutosaur mount was a mistake, and never should have been added to the game. It needs to be removed from the game, and the current owners should be refunded for the gold that they paid for it. However, if they use terms like “long boi” then they deserve nothing but disdain.

You posted what is effectively a blog-worthy minor complaint on a public forum, to be fair. It’s fine to have the opinion! Sometimes it can get a bit much for me, too - especially when people are blocking doorways and stuff with it lmao.

But ultimately, it’s a complaint I’d just grumble about on occasion to friends or in private - if at all. Not something worth making a big post about on the General Discussion section of the official WoW forums.

Doing that just makes it come off as a bigger deal to you than it may be. Not saying you are lying or anything! Just, that is the vibe that it’ll give off to many, is all.

That said, I echo a few others’ wishes for a slightly smaller transmog/vendor mount. I think the yak is neat visually, but it isn’t something I use for actual running. Just way too big, and not my style of mount.
