There is no statement from blizzard yet on the situation. Anyone who claims there is, or claims to know why people have been banned, is speculating or just casually lying.

They were more than likely banned because they used them for paid boosting.

I heard something about a macro that some people are apparently using which is an exploit? Dunno what though.

There’s no question that they’re allowed. They would simply remove the xpoff NPCs and system if they didn’t want you to make twinks anymore.

The only question was if some people were falsely banned or if they were lying about why they were banned. :man_shrugging:

There were multiple other things they might have been doing such as avoiding the xp debuff and a drop chance exploit in time walking dungeons that allowed you to get 100% drop chance and let you reset them quickly to solo.

See in he anniv classic side of the world people go I/my friend got banned for boosting.

they got banned for putting boost ad in the wrong chat. the /4 police are always there. and they are waiting
and watching lol.

boosting has been allowed since 2004. the only service banned is gdkp for some classic versions. it works.

if one pretends discord doesn’t exist anyway.

or if the boosted it was their lucky day, they got the collateral bans from a gold seller in the 3-6 month purges. Write cs, they clear that up most times. Sellers usually work off layered alts, so the boosted dude got real unlucky lol.

Code was put in as far back as BFA this should not be working. retail boosters are clearly working around this.

BFA had the 110 to 114 legion lego twinks as some might recall. Hell I recall day 1 geared 110’s dh were solo running lower dungeons lol.

Twinks are allowed, multibox streamlining is not (which is probably where most of the suspensions are coming from), and bypassing the XP off debuff can also land you in hot water.

I was wondering that too. You all have rdf/lfd too.

I get why people boost in the era’s. and upto last phase of wrath classic.

usually the booster throws in lock summons too lol. the route from barrens to SFK
is not the most awe inspiring journey in time. Great for doing laundry though. Lots of time to be afk really on flight paths.

well you buy blocks of runs and know you get 5 runs (at discount usually) just like that.
