Master brewmasters guide me, if I never get high yellow to low red stagger does this mean I am not pulling enough enemies?
I have all of the stagger increasing talents and covenants ready to go.

I mean if you aren’t dying does it matter?
If you’re hitting red stagger you’re taking alot of damage, if you’re in yellow then it’s meh damage. You don’t always want to just take damage for the sake of taking it.
You don’t start getting higher stagger till you do like 15 keys, even then you won’t really have red super often unless you do a gambit pull. Manage your cd so you can know when you can tank red stagger.
I suppose you could just shoot for middle stagger and your healer will likely be able to sustain you.
If youre in high stagger then you’re likely draining your healers mana.
Thank you, I was just worried that I am not using stagger to its full potential if I don’t get red stagger constantly…
Stagger will depend on the level of key your doing. Looks like you ran a 2. Honestly that not going to hit very hard. But dont think you can over pull as well. Spells and AoE can wreck you though Green stagger if your not careful. Stagger is purly physical damage so basically your melee attacks and some mob abilities. Stagger only mitigates 35%of magic dmg so a magical attack will hit you for 65%
Now if you did a +10 at your ilvl you could easily get red stagger with normal pulls though magic or AoE might make your live miserable if your group doesnt interrupt or you stand where your not supposed to.
Yeah, I died by standing in the fire on the train which was embarrassing.
Heh, yeah unfortunately fire doesnt really go into stagger
If you never get to red stagger, you’re not getting hit hard. or you are dodging too often.
I suggest a Stagger tracking Weakaura, and asking yourself the question: am i purifying too often, as in, if you ever have red stagger, and cant purify because its on CD. That’s where you run into problems.
Not getting hit enough/hard enough is actually worse than getting hit too hard, as most of your self healing comes from purifying alot of stagger, and from ox orbs, which generate at about 1 per healthbar you put into stagger.
if you dont get a good balance of both of these, you will feel weak.
At low levels, it’s less about how much you’re pulling and more about performing the dungeon’s mechanics correctly. At 263, you’re not going to feel much from mobs until you’re in the 7-10 range.
How much damage you’re staggering isn’t necessarily an indication of whether you’re pulling too many mobs or not enough, especially at such low levels. What’s more telling is whether your healer is struggling or if DPS are dying to unavoidable damage.
Yeah this basically. You can die in green stagger if your dps arent kicking and spells going though or your standing in fire. Most avoidable damage is not physical. There are some exceptions example Streets first boss blades are physical.
