I mean sure but also yikes. THis would create a whole new way to complain about how confusing it would be. It really shouldn’t be that hard.
This is off topic but the easiest solution is to have a “transmog currency” if you want lfr looks you have to do LFR raiding, that would keep heroic /mythic raiders that want to farm looks in the LFR metrics.
Item drops, the transmog roll option becomes a “buy this transmog” button, in exchange for the currency that you get from each boss kill from LFR. The actual item goes to roll winner (supposedly someone who needs it)
Anyone who pays the price gets the appearance, so multiple ppl can get it at once, the rate of acquisition can be as slow as they want it to be for metrics, but needs to be completeable within the same season.
Another clause would be, you can only earn currency for transmog once you have outgrown your need for that ilvl, similar to the crest system where you can exchange “up” but only after your character has gone above 463 for every transmogabble slot for LFR mogs, and then copy that template to normal and heroic , with mythic being pretty much as is (no transmog currency) - this last part is more to maintain metrics as they seem to intend it to be more than anything. Otherwise you’ll inevitably cut playtime of a lot of ppl by…a lot
