I completed the ain’t no mountain high enough achievement, I’m level 50 and I do not have access to the highmountain Tauren. any ideas?
You most likely have to complete the embassy quest also.
Go to the embassy and there should be a quest available that will open them.
I already did that, I had to travel all the way to Thunder Bluff and kill some dude, after that, I completed the quest and nothing happened. It says I have the achievement…

I am currently having the same issue with High Mountain Tauren and the Vulperan. I have done the achieves and embassy quests for both but cannot create either one. I have no addons and a fresh install. I have submitted a ticket but it was closed within a few hours with an automated reply that sends you to areas just like this. People with the same problem and no answers.
Ok so I had a friend help me with this one after he saw me post. After you think youve completed the embassy quest in High Mountain, you have to continue the quest line after you turn in and keep going until it awards you and sends you back to the embassy. With that said, I went back to High Mountain and sure enough there was a quest there right were I had left off so I picked it up and followed the spiritual themed quest line until it awarded me High Mountain Tauren.

I realize these posts are a bit old, but I just started playing again, and had the same issue. After looking for posts like this, and finding nothing, I thought I would go back to my quests and review. Well, low and behold, I found this quest called “A feast for our kin”, given to me by the High Mountain leader (probably when I completed the achievement). Anyway, Look for this quest, and it starts a chain in Thunder Bluff. Once that chain is done, THEN, the other quest will open up at the embassy (no new chains
