i joined a PUG and we made it a few feet into the dungeon and the entire dungeon pulled killed 3 of us and that was it like??? what do i even do in this situation

can i ask what dungeon?
If you were that close to the entrance, why didn’t you just run out?
There are some dungeons which can be dangerous do to pathing like gnomer but thats kind of deep in near the end, and while pets have been for the most part fixed in all areas I know they were problematic, its still good to dismiss them before jumping.
As someone else asked, what dungeon was it, and are you really sure nobody did anything? I can’t even think of a dungeon thats dangerous near the entrance.
Sadly, in the rules when you create your character, you accept that no matter what circumstances, you die, you die and have to start over, blizzard will not revive the character or anything under any circumstances

it was RFC and we made to to where all the little goblins are as we started to pull groups of 2-3 of them we almost had them done and the goblins from all the lanes ran out and started to attack everyone im talking 30-35 of them as we ran 3 of us died on the way to the entrance i said 5 feet i just ment the start of the instance
Well you lost a pretty fresh character, then. Sounds like you learned an important lesson without too much consequence, nice!
Hardcore doesn’t protect against bugs. If you die for any reason it’s time we reroll
just hard to swallow that i guess pay $16 a month to a 20 years old game that take many hours to reach the goal to die to what seemed like a bug iv died ALOT this is prob my 25th toon every keeps says “reroll” acting like im crying but at the end of the day if this happened to anyone else they would be here doing what i am right now best of luck to everyone just wanted to see if anything could be done
Just gotta swap the mind set. You don’t play Hardcore for the end goal, it’s for the journey itself.

I’ve lost a 26/30/34 (Any many lower than these) and yeah it hurts. Won’t forget them though and had a great time getting there.
Starting zones can get repetitive, I just prefer Ally for that reason for Hardcore, more early variety
That’s not a bug, someone pulled all that probably. Be very careful in RFC it’s rife with griefers looking for easy W’s, they might’ve just sent a hunter pet through all the mobs or something.
No, you choose to play HC, things happen, this is hardly a big deal. HC is one life, thats it, and when you die you die, it simply doesn’t matter how you died, they even warn you when you create your character. On the positive side you learned early that HC isn’t for you, so simply transfer to the normal servers and continue your journey.
It wasn’t a bug, there is a known RFC griefer named Longsleeve that groups with a Hunter named Hamud that have been killing people by grief pulling packs of Trogs in RFC for weeks. There’s a post on Reddit about it with Longsleeve admitting he’s killed 23 people so far on purpose. The guy was already banned but then cried to blizzard to appeal it, now it looks like he’s back and griefing again.
Just report Longsleeve and Hamud and they’ll end up rebanned.
