I didn’t roll on best-in-slots last night…

Fresh ele sham and last night went into first lfr… best-in-slots dropped and I had looked at my bis list so i knew what to roll on.

However when it dropped I realized there was no intel on it… so quickly I pulled up the list again and saw it had intel on it.

I figured maybe it would drop an intel version, as odd as that sounds, I could use … another variation perhaps.

So I passed on it. I looked at who was rolling and there was only 2 people… a 4 and a 13. It wasn’t until 3 minutes later I started to look at the comments on wowhead for the item til I realized I had made a big mistake… I didn’t realize it recalibrated ooc. That tooltip…

The moral of this story is to read. I know every time a wow player reads a cat gets sacd somewhere but take it from a noob and mop lover…. Slow down! :kissing_cat:

I didn’t need more reasons to just roll need on everything that gives me the option. :stuck_out_tongue:

i usually do that in lfr too, except when the group sucks and i want the 50g from a crap ring for my repairs, or if i dont have the mog yet. I got lfr best-in-slots on my boomkin last week, and i even have a champion agil polearm already  but i wanted that mog, gdi. keep losing the roll on my 2h chars that would use it as an upgrade

all 12 of my alts are up to the level where they can maybe get 1 upgrade left from lfr, so i only do it for the rep, gallywix mount chance, or if there’s a dps lootbox extra

I passed on it too, and it is “bis” for my Druid. However, a LFR ilvl can’t touch my crafted staff, and I’ll never have a shot at a mythic version. Is what it is.

loot karma ensures you will have on in your vault

Why do that for people that would never do the same for you?

One can only hope!

Idk, trying to be the change maybe. One can only hope lmao

that’s a deep question and not one that this forum is really suited for. the short answer is that some of us try to do “the right thing” even if it won’t benefit us personally.

I finally got a curio today on my 630 demo lock. A nice fella opened a trade window and wished me luck.

I took my curio to the vendor, bought a robe, and swanned about the Incontinental Hotel in it for about an hour before reset. Life is good.

See there are good people that play. Congrats

I passed on hero Best in Slots this week because I have the 675 crafted weapon and letting another guildie have it would help the raid more than me having it.

You’re better off with a higher item level wep anyways

I got the lfr best in slots wep and the only cool thing about it was the calibration effect :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If it was a pug, you should just always roll anyway. Being “nice” is good and all, but you’ll very unlikely never see them again and AT WORST it was a mog for a very rare drop you earned as much as they did.

If it was a guild/static group, then at least the weapon supposedly will still benefit you indirectly in the form of the increased output from your ally in the future as well as 1 less body to roll against. Plus you could’ve rolled a 12 or less which would probably sting a bit more I imagine.

But in pugs, ALWAYS roll. You worked for the kill too and it is all but guaranteed THEY won’t be giving up a chance at loot for your goodwill.

Yeah shouldn’t be too long before I get 60 gildeds so chaulked it up to bad luck

I often roll need if I am not sure, especially if it is the last boss of that wing and the next queue has popped.

Hopefully your vault is kind!
