Except as I said, I’m happy to do the painting because having the minis is worth it and I don’t sit around complaining about painting when I could just not do it if it wasn’t worth it.

The grind was way too long. It needs to be half of what it is currently at least. I personally hated it. The game is fine for what it is and for those who actually like that kind of thing but putting wow rewards behind a rep grind in a separate game absolutely SUCKS.

Yes, I used it as an of example how something you don’t enjoy can be a part of a total package that is overall fulfilling and worth doing.

When something is fulfilling and worth doing, you don’t complain and rage about it. Which ultimately leads to people saying things like “you aren’t forced to do it” as actually being meant as advice that you are choosing to ignore, just as you chose to spend your time doing something you hated that wasn’t worth it. Your call, despite the snark people are trying to be helpful in saying that.
