I did the maths so you dont have to. Templar: Hammer of Light main target damage increased by 25%

the buff is wrong.

  • Templar: Hammer of Light main target damage increased by 25%.
  • Templar: Hammer of Light secondary target damage increased by 75%.
dont actually give 25% increase dmg, took a screenshot just before logging off yesterday like i did with the dawnlight nerf which i was accurate by 100 or so dmg off and got 650 773 dmg for my hammer of light.
logging in tonight i have 801 441 dmg. if you do the maths it should be 25 % of 650 773 which gives us 813466.25. as you can see there is a huge 12 000 dmg difference from the supposed buff.
Mind you i did the same thing for dawnlight when they nerfed it by 15%, took screenshot the day before, logging in the night after, compared both and it was exactly 15% dmg reduction.
Now the question is, why are nerfs so accurate but buffs aren’t ? i wonder why… always under buffed but never under nerfed huh… strange. I’ll leave it up to you guys to go ask the devs.

sorry edit : i forgot to mention the even more MEGA HUGE difference with the secondary target dmg.

so i had 325386 yesterday for off target. add 75% of that which equals 244039.5.
add those 2 together for a total of 569425.5 supposed dmg.
But wait… ho no… my tooltip only says 400 720 dmg… coincidence. WELL NO ITS NOT.
thats a small 168 000 or so dmg difference. i guess someone at blizzard did their maths improperly. clearly not someone studying engineering.

Aren’t you just going back to prot in a month?

Bro prot is gonna need the DF and shadowland season 4 pvp modifiers to be removed before anything. The spec still has 50% dmg reduction in pvp if you check wowhead prot paladin modifier you’ll find it. It also has an 80% healing nerf on allies in pvp only. And it also has a 69.XX % dmg taken increase in pvp. These make the spec no matter how op it would be in pve, completely D tier in pvp. It would have to be doing double everyone’s healing in pve, doing more dmg than the top dps in pve and have their mastery coefficient 6 times higher to make it B tier in pvp.

Don’t feed it.

I think you need to get on the ptr and test it’s not dying to anything atm haha. And wog doesn’t cost mana anymore and it’s doing almost the same damage as ret.
