I’m honestly not impressed. I was super hyped for them because everyone told me they were super fun, but honestly I didn’t really like them at all. I found them boring, and a pain to do. Anyone else feel the same ?

I agree for me atleast the draining mechic ruins it for me.Feels to much like a Solo Mythic+ run which i can’t stand lol!

Yea, going in and just killing thrall is very boring
Once you get more time/abilities/masks, they begin to be more entertaining

Once you unlock talents, start to familiarize yourself with the potions/power ups/mobs to kill for buffs through out, it starts to become more interesting. You’ll start being able to do mask runs, rewards will feel worth your while.
It may never be your favorite activity, but you’ll eventually see the value to it if nothing more!

It really depends on the class going on. Absolutely none of my melee characters have had an issue. Absolutely all of my casters hate doing them.

Yes, Blizzard made 8.3 pre-raid for melee and decided that the rest of us should not play until shadowlands. That’s pretty much all there is to it.

Because you can’t really do anything yet. Trust me I was in the same boat as you. After you hit Rank 5 and start having to think about what paths to take and how to get the most out of your run, then it gets fun.

I stealth/sprint passed everything possible then clear out area(s) and stealth sprint back to the boss to kill.

TBH, when I think of horrific visions, the word “intense” comes to mind more than fun. Of course, beating something like that can be fun in itself–the first few times. The rewards as you get better help maintain interest.
If you’re a holy priest trying to get through one, soloing sounds horrible. Any healer really. It’s a spec that isn’t exactly design for high DPS situations.
IMO, play it how the spec fits. If you want to stay holy, group up for it. (I can help on Tuesday if you want, though won’t have more vessels till then). Otherwise, go DPS spec for the DPS-required run. I imagine it’s annoying if you hate shadow, but I think what was intended.

You need the cloak levels to progress in raiding. It’s pre-raid content. The stat increase you get for 12+ is huge and without the corruption resistance you won’t be able to equip your best gear.
Yea, and you only have to full clear once to get that +12 cloak
Every class can effortlessly do a 0 mask full clear, then go be dominate in raiding instead

There’s someone doing the harder of the two visions, with all 5 masks
so yea, you can totally do orgrimmar with 0 masks on a holy priest
