I did mage tower, at level 52, proving how mage tower is not difficult AT ALL

Please don’t. You’re only making things worse for yourself here. This isn’t how you interact with people. You aren’t proving anything here.

Incorrect. He’s been progressing with his guild and it dropped for him. Let’s not make stuff up.

Not busted keep reading

So what if you did it prior to being level 60? Everyone is scaled down anyways just through the mechanics of Timewalking… and you are scaled down to level 45 for Crusader to work.

your not a druid. all you can say is it was’nt difficult on warriors/paladins (or… whatever class that is in that screenshot).

Strange, this wording suggests otherwise :

LOL. You mean after Blizz nerfs it?

Some of the replies regarding knowing the timers and percentages for the Agatha fight is beneficial. For fire mage, I wasted combustion uptime when she either was immune because of the imps spawning or her teleporting in the middle of my CD. I held it until after there was downtime and I could have a clean 12 seconds of casting.

ha ha touche!

But thats the top of the mountains that no one lives on… well except for those researchers and their telescopes.

Do we actually know how it works?

It seems like player level and gear level work in some sort of over under par system. Level 50 with end gear your way over par for your character level. But as you level up your character but not your gear level you end up doing less damage and fights start taking a lot longer.

Not saying it’s intentional or even works like this, just that it wouldn’t be the first time it turns out the scaling systems have some unexpected interactions or can be exploited in some way.

OMG, PLEASE BLIZZ, MAKE IGNORE SOMETHING THAT WIPES EVERY THREAD FROM THAT USER FROM FORUMS.

YOU really need to go on discord or something, somewhere far away.

You are trolling or do not understand HOW subjective ‘difficulty’ is.

Even Blizzard said some are overtuned. Honestly dude, go away.

Yes.

It doesn’t “seem”, it’s been this way since TBC, ever since they switched flat % to the rating system. Basically 1% of a stat at X level is Y rating now. The higher the level, the more rating required to get the same 1%.

Then in WoD (IIRC), they changed it to where toons don’t really have baseline stats tied to level. A ilvl 50 toon is an ilvl 50 toon IRT Stam/Strength and overall secondary ratings. But the same ilvl 50 gear on a level 60 toon, he’ll have the same health pool, the same AP from Strength, the same Secondary ratings, but much less percentages of secondary effects. This is where the “You depower as you level” thing comes from.

Toss in scaled zones, where the zones scale up as you level, and people don’t get the same sense of progression they did. The same wolf you’re fighting at level 50 and 60 shouldn’t be harder at higher level, it should be easier. Before : that would be easy to explain because a Dreadwaste Wolf is obviously stronger than a Jade Forest wolf, now that they are both Ardenweald wolves in the same area, it’s harder to suspend disbelief.

For Mage Tower, all that happens is you’re scaled down to level 45, and your gear to ilvl 50. Your new secondary % are based off being 45 and thus needing the ratings a level 45 does per % point. That’s why your scaled down gear still lets you have decent Crit/Haste/Mast/Vers. But the starting point doesn’t matter. Gear is normalized too now. The last time gear had “less budget” was MoP, where sockets were part of the budget, so MoP pieces with sockets will have less stats for the same ilvl as WoD and beyond gear that has “free sockets” from RNG.

So for the purpose of mage tower, a level 50 wearing the same gear as a level 60 in Mage Tower will have completely identical stats once inside and scaled to 45 and the gear capped to ilvl 50. The only functional difference will be Rank 2s you gain leveling.

It really is, by far, the easiest one to do.

Yea for real. Clark is just a troll account whose gimmick is to act like the ultimate Blizzard bootlicker. Nobody can or should take him seriously.

Congrats man.

Idk what the, “crusader cheese,” is, and believe me, I want it because I lack the required skill to do the challenge legit.

Regardless of how easy or hard it may or may not be, congrats to you.

correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t fury warrior considered one of the easier challenges right now?

and it wouldn’t surprise me if due to scaling being garbage it was actually easier at lower levels.

Get two weapons you can put crusader on and dual wield them

Update: The only issues I’m having are Imp Spawn RNG teleports - that seem to favor directly into the pools or the back of the cave where the rocks explode. I got her to 10%.

So, in short. I’m not getting the warrior set. I don’t want to. Having my last bit of success be RNG is dumb.

See my thread about how I did it on my fire mage (much less mobile, even scarier scaling).

I only succeeded because RNG was on my side at the last bit. I straight up attribute my success to good RNG at the end.

A 10 minute fight should NEVER be RNG dependent. It should be skill related.

Not all three skills up at once and the teleporting imp has decided, “Nah, I’ma just teleport to the boulder spawns that kill you instantly and have Darkfury spamming you while you can do nothing until the boulders stop coming.”
