78/100 games were against premades- we won 2, but only against less then ideal premade comps (~1priest and less then 2 hunters generally while also being well stacked on our side 2-3 priests and some hunters/good flag runner shams). One of those premades afkd out after the first flag cap
22 pug v pug games (Pug constituting full on randoms/premades counting only if 9+ were from same realm).
General feeling towards premades were frustration and disappointment that it is this bad when chatting people in games, (generally 6-8mins of chit chat waiting at the gy)
Of the the pug v pug games we won 86% (19/22) as horde. Some tight games and some roll overs to be expected, it all seemed to come down to who got the priests/hunters. The games that were not over stacked seemed to be the most fun/engaging.
This is pretty much the same as my experience. Pug v Pug is pretty fair and mostly boils down to skill. Hit one of the many god comp premades and just wait as a ghost for it to finish.
I’m not here to change your mind. This is just data i collected. The premades were 9-10 people from the same server, that moved as a group and generally had some form of meta comp stacking (alot of times they also had WBs and were getting to the barren side of the map before we jumped gy)
This is a social game - solo queuing goes against the spirit of the game and is therefore against the ToS. Report all pugs in BGs as it disrupts the gameplay of those of us who group up for a fun, fair and competitive experience.
I played some WSG at 19 early in the season and it was fun. At 25 in a pug, it’s a waste of time. I’d love a single solo queue, otherwise I’m not going to bother. Expect to repeat the same for the other PVP types. Not interested in joining a pre-made.
Same. I started playing vanilla just because of WSG. Ranked as a healing priest in classic. I prefer wpvp, but, BGs is where I fell in love with the game. And I always prefer solo queue over premade. Healing bgs solo queue is my happy place.
Right now it’s very painful to play. I’d rather wait a few minutes and not have premades in the solo queue than to play at all right now.
The damage reduction helped, however, it obviously needs fixed. I actually like the reduction! But getting solo’d by a pet when I can take on multiple melee and make pallys stop attacking because they’re bored and can’t kill me… Doesn’t make sense.
