steamrolled every floor with op self heal build. get to last boss, to not be able to out damage it before it builds too high of damage modifiers (uninterruptable btw very fair) and lose. why are the last bosses of torghast runs always way freaking harder than anything else you encountered since then? how is this even fair? they dont even do mechanics. uninterruptable damage modifiers isnt a mechanic blizzard because you cant avoid it or combat it. literally just a dps check.

this expansion is trash.

Which class? If you’re a mage, you can spellsteal the shimmer effect because it’s magic and also dispelable. Most other classes have short interrupts. Also, CC works on them such as stuns, blind, incaps, the works.

It might be a case of taking the incorrect powers for the boss fight.

I’ve been playing Twisting Corridors the past 2 days and have had a lot of fun with crazy builds
also I swear that they removed the uninterruptable mechanic at 10 stacks

fury warrior with an op self heal build. boss was dark ascended corrus. heard shes easy for ranged but I just cant do it even when spamming literally every ability back-to-back

Mages can output stupid amounts of damage. DPS should never be your issue in TC unless you had 2 coldheart wings.

you will be happy to know that as of 9.1 “Bosses no longer regenerate health after they have defeated you.”

  1. Get better gear before doing aTC, your damage and survivability will scale much better that way
  2. Bosses are as much a DPS check as a survival check. The stacking damage buff they get is to ensure you’re balancing getting damage and survival powers.

Ive been having a bad time in there on my frost DK. Agree with OP nothing worse than curb stomping your way to a boss you wont have the DPS to down, and then leaving with zero rewards for your time.

Feels great.

That DPS build up that they do can be hard CC’d. If they’re CC’d when it ticks over to the next level, it resets. Dunno if Polymorph works against the floor bosses or not.
