There’s a lot of things FF does right and a few things it does very wrong, IMO.

Not defending WoW, but FFXIV’s endgame is even more barren than that in Shadowlands. Maybe the next expansion will change that, but Shadowbringers is a really cool story crafted onto a very hollow grind.
That’s the thing I love about Final Fantasy games: great story - the problem is that it just doesn’t work in an MMO. You go through the fantastic story and reach the end and then what? You’re reminded that it’s just a lackluster game…
At present, FFXIV could be rightly retitled “Ul’dah Loitering Simulator.” There is literally a massive portion of the playerbase that does nothing but log in, pose their character, and go AFK for 8 hours.

Imagine quitting wow just to go to a worse MMO, when I’m done with wow I’m not touching MMO ever again unless something earth shattering amazing and unquie comes along.

Same, I always say I’ll play wow till I die but if somehow Blizz manages to think of a way to make me quit (which would be impressive since the motto I live by is “don’t like it, don’t do it”) then no I’d never touch another mmo or any game that consumed a lot of time.

Same here. After playing 8 continuous years the flight changes compelled me to break the habit and leave. It was hard to walk away from and break the habit after all that time.
Now I usually just do a month or two every couple of years and I haven’t bought a new expansion since MoP.
Leaving that first time was a good thing.

You didn’t delete WoW, you didn’t cancel your account, and you never asked Blizzard to delete your account.
The only bit of truth is that you are playing FF14.
Trading in wow for FF14 is like trading bad smelling cheese for literally fresh poop.

I mean having one character being able to play different classes? Yes, that sounds great. Player housing - great. Meaningful professions - great. The Golden Saucer - a casino like area filled with quirky mini games to do when you’re just wanting to do something different than the usual mmo stuff (with tons of transmog crap to buy) - great.
Yes, sounds like poop. Don’t get me wrong, FFXIV def has flaws, but it’s far from poop dude.

I didn’t delete wow yet but yea playing ff14. Feels better imo. Used to love this game but what did it for me was the community. Seeing how people treat each other on here and their sheet mentality just got me.
Not all people are bad but yea I can do without the bs

If you can find good ribs they are amazing
My grocery had 2 for 1 “extra meaty” pork ribs a while back.
I bought a few racks and threw them in the deep freezer.
They were well worth the effort.
I cook them in the oven.
Defrost cut the rack in half, put a Smokey sweet rub on, wrap them separately in foil, refrigerate overnight, bake 225 for like 4-5 hours.
Unwrap, sauce and broil for like 4 minutes.
