I deleted WOW from my computer a while ago but it's still taking up 80 gigs on my C drive

Like the title says. I’ve looked everywhere but I cannot find it’s install directory. Windows 10 tells me it’s the largest program on the drive but is unable to uninstall it. When I click the uninstall button provided by Windows 10 it opens the uninstaller agent and then tells me the program is uninstalled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might find WinDirStat (https://windirstat.net/) useful. It’ll give you a graphical way of looking at the contents of your hard drive, and once you find the WoW directory, it’ll show you the file path for it.

Wish that the CM that keeps deleting threads would move this to the correct forum.

Also @ OP but try clearing your recycle bin? did you uninstall threw control panel or did you jsut delete wow.exe? if you dont clear your recycle bin sometimes files remain in a hidden directory until you do because windows is dumb. i do a lot of rendering and this happens to me after I delete large files

Great program. I’ve used that.

Found a bunch of files I could delete to make room for things.
