Honestly, if you’re kicking butt comfortably without an mmo mouse, definitely stay that way. Makes it a bit of a temp crutch. The future of mmo mice isn’t very vibrant. only like a baby handful of them and their designs all the same. A lot of companies have stopped making them.

I’ve had about a dozen sub 3% pulls. P1 is a lot of fun, but after trying to optimize the fight, the level of RNG of P2 is too much at it’s current tuning. I’m not particularly consistent, but when I go play perfectly I expect a kill. Having a perfect run lose because a force beam puts you into a position to either die or be pushed into an orb you need to save (resulting in death later)… not a fan. You need to play p2 perfectly and also not get screwed by RNG and that’s a bit much. Fights with high variance should still always be possible, but the current tuning can result in some pulls bring impossible. Enrage is too tight for how p2 is designed. IMO. I like the fight but I’m taking a break because I’ve mastered p1 and simply don’t have the patience to keep pulling for good RNG in p2.

How does any of this diminish your achievement of getting it done in the first few days in what is obviously a broken state? Good for you I guess but most other players clearly have no desire to bash their heads against artificial walls that are only there because the dev team did zero tuning and the 24 hours of testing on the PTR were a joke.
Also, has it ever crossed your mind that there are a ton of players who don’t care about the transmog recolors at all and are only doing this to get the mount? Because I am such a player and while I can knock out a few of these challenges even in this broken state all that time, effort, and frustration would have been for nothing because there is no way I can do all 7 especially the tank and healer ones which are beyond busted.
So for me there’s now zero incentive to do any of the challenges unless I can do all of them in the brief window that we have, making this whole thing an exercise in futility.
As far as I am concerned they might as well just scrap this mess and give us an alternative avenue of getting the mount given that at one point they were willing to just send it to us in the mail for free and that didn’t happen only because a handful more people voted for the tree mount. Why we didn’t get all the mounts instead of just one when the art team clearly created versions for all of them I will never understand. Why sit on assets that you have spent the time to create and not give them to your playerbase? It’s idiotic!

Oh yeah, the tuning makes it not even possible unless you’re using old war pot. There is no margin of error or leeway - you need to slam that stuff to have even a chance to beat the soft enrage.
It’s difficult but it’s not impossible. I managed to do it with just shadowlands gear and consumes. I don’t think I’m a good player at all, just put in the time to learn the mechanics and eventually got it.

There needs to be accountability for all of this. This isn’t what was tested on PTR and the buffs given clearly have pushed encounters to the limit. Your company had an opportunity to do something right for once in the last 365+ days…and you couldn’t even do that properly. What a disappointment.

I think people would be more accepting of the difficulty if there wasn’t a time restraint and a crazy weekly event rotation that makes the tower available very rarely.

As a new player in Shadowland, I heard a lot about the mage tower in Legion and was very excited about the tw before this week’s reset.
After 30min challenging the mage tower: unfortunately, it is just impossible for me and clearly is not making me want to spend more time on this content.
Oh, I had a blast with the frost mage one before I actually had the ‘proper’ gear, but even then, I had all of my borrowed power and my entire class kit at my disposal.
The lack of that is a massive flaw right now.

I checked out his stream today and he actually cried when he finally beat Kruul. Well actually, the NPCs killed Kruul, Supa just weakened him enough that the NPCs could finish the job. 
Nah but seriously, if you all dont know Supa, he’s a really nice guy and he’ll even rap for you if you donate to him.
