What even is this scaling? I’m going back to zones like Arathi and Darkshore to try and farm out the last few mounts/pets/toys that I’m missing. I could actually kill rares in these zones faster in BFA than I can now. This scaling is absolutely scuffed, please fix this.
EDIT: I could also solo world bosses during 8.3. Including Doom’s Howl. I can no longer do that. Wtf?
Almost as if we lost corruption which was the most op thing they’ve ever added into WoW.
It’s still old content though. My character should never be weaker than the previous expansion, against previous expansion enemies.
people who started in WoD and up do not understand this. They never played the game without scaling so they say silly things.
Yeah, something is wrong. You can beat M+15 but you cant kill lowbie BFA rares. Yeah, something is odd. I know why. Oops. My conscience says be nice… LOL.

It’s super busted. BFA mobs take longer to kill at 60 now then they did at 120 in BFA even pre-corruptions.
Essences and Azerite powers added an insane amount of burst.
When they scaled and told us we would still be able to kill stuff we could kill they lied to our faces.
Go take a level 50 DH and try to solo Freehold in 3 pulls.
World Bosses are harder to kill than when they were current.
Rares take way longer to kill at 60 than they did at 120.
N’zoth Invasions are almost dangerous at 60 depending on gear.
They told us to basically wait for 9.3 to go back and solo stuff.
I thought the previous expac was supposed to not be soloable until 2 expacs later? Isn’t that the way it has always been?

The scaling to shadowlands(1-60) destroyed scaling in BFA. Its harder now.

I’m guessing since they haven’t fixed it for so long it’s not an “easy” fix. I guess they really messed something up with the expansion scaling. They could just be lazy and have completely ignored the issue for whatever reason?
Corruption had nothing to do with it, I could solo anything in seconds in BfA with just half-decent gear. The scaling is waaaay busted. I never even got corruption, I quit the clown fiesta before then
Good, it made leveling up feel awful due to us losing strength as we progressed into the next xpac.
Corruption was for 8.3. This was a result of the level squish.
It has felt awful to level in the past 3 xpacs since scaling was released, even if you had only trash WQ gear or raid gear doesn’t matter . Scaling is just garbage.
Yeah, the guy I specifically replied to brough up how he was able to solo things in 8.3.

The devs did it on purpose why they dont like people soloing the game they want them in groups fact
