Idk how or why but last night while doing 2s at 2.3k Mmr I ended up clipping trough the starting gate and that led me to run right to the enemies gate before the arena started.
Anyone else had that happenned ?
My warrior had done the same but only like 2-3 sec before the gate open, I just saw him walk through what for me was a wall and went to the pillar before I could even start going forward. Though that was barely noticeable compared to when I just had 1 min or so left on clock for arena to start and already in front of the enemies gate.

Pls keep the comments for those who have experienced the same bug and let’s find a way to figure out how it happened and could be happening in the future.
Has happened on every map so far. Can do some ice wall memes with it.
Empyrean, Maldraxxus, Sewers & Blackrook confirmed worked for me in terms of passing through gates

I think they removed collision on the eggs on broodtwisted, and I heard somebody say fonts of power are also affected? So maybe bunch of random stuff affected.

It’s more than just the OP going through the gates. I’ve seen this happen with other players and myself. Something game-breaking is going on here. I’d suggest people not abuse this bug right now.

Yep I accidentally ran through a gate in shuffle yesterday.
You can be banned for trying and to replicate bugs so that is a great warning I forgot to mention.
DO NOT TRY THIS THEY CAN TRACK IT.
What we must do it figure out the specific reasons for why and how it’s possible since blizzard will never do it themselves after firing everyone that isn’t a dev. We are free labor game tester for them.

I saw that happen yesterday too
A hunter in my lobby tried to be real smart and push in to the enemy team before the match even started
Had to cocoon him first global :´)
I went through by accident last night on rsham and placed a earth grab totem on the enemies entrance a couple of times for funsies and had a guy said, Reported with video evidence!! 
Yeah I’m trying to think of what advantage this would provide, besides ending your own matches quicker by dying

This happened to me yesterday me and my friend in 2s. I thought it was some weird bug because I was able to walk past the barrier and then I walked back into the starting point but then I noticed that the warr from the other team ran his way all right into the middle of the arena map.
Not sure what caused it.
Also I did noticed that it happened after casting my healthstone party ability. So note sure if abilities of the sort are bugging things in arena.
I mean shouldn’t matter whether it provides any advantage/disadvantage.
A bug that allows a player to cross that barrier is pretty big especially when there’s a chance that same bug could be replicated into possibly with how things are coded to allow one to cross the same barriers in blitz bg.

So, the advantage is actually that in matches like shuffle you can’t even see your enemies till the match starts. Classes like shaman/mages are able to setup totems/ ring of frost just as the gate comes out. It’s completely broken and busted.
I’ll 100% report any player who abuses this bug and exploit. It’s too bad a lot of the player base doesn’t have the moral decency to actually know when a bug is actually cheating in a very big way. Also, blizz needs to fix this and disable arenas till that happens.
While it would be amazing if people followed this.
Unfortunately I think this is due to the way blizz handles things. If it’s was a very strict account time ban for anyone exploiting oblivious bugs. Then it would count as a good harsh deterrent but instead what happens it some soft suspension/week ban.
They need something akin to you get caught exploiting this in a rated environment then you’re whole account is barred from receiving any awards for that season pvp/pve.
Next lifetime attempt you start losing awards you gained in the past seasons.
Third lifetime attempt whole account lifetime banned with a possible IP lock.
