When a Fury Warrior says that Layer 8 is easy then it will be easy; it’s very luck dependent past Layer 5.
This is one of the biggest factors. A lot of people waste time turning their character before running, often getting hit by mechanics because they didn’t move in time. If they had simply strafed out of the way, they would have avoided it completely.
Various impairments of the mind are commonly associated with old age. To what extent are these biological in origin? To what extent, social in origin?

Depends on class. I can do it fairly easy as bm with this guy. With my mage? Hes… 176 I think and depending on the tower can usually do a 3 or 4. Its a lot harder with that class, especially if you dont get the powers that help control the mobs.

It was flat out nerfed thanks to the endless forum crying. I used to strategically clear out layer 8’s on my Ret paladin pre-nerf, now it’s pretty much mindless. Would have been better had they tweaked spec/class powers instead.

I could pull entire rooms of elites on high lvls before the nerf as prot pally.
No druid has a bad spec. Feral demolishes bosses, especially with Convoke. Balance just murders. Guardian and Resto are cakewalks.
Try it on an Assassination Rogue. Or a Survival Hunter. They have crap for anima powers.
