I didn’t help saurfang. i told the troll that i wouldnt betray the war-chief. there were some flavortext changes. but i got the same ending as when i did help saurfang on my main. what did i do wrong?
Same here. Since 8.1, I’ve told Zekhan ‘‘I will not betray my Warchief, Troll.’’ and told Nathanos about Baine’s plan into freeing Derek Proudmoore. Still got the Saurfang Loyalist ending which confuses me, because Zappieboy knows about me not betraying Sylvanas, and then he acts as if nothing happened.
Same here, though I reported this in the customer service forum. I know exactly where the quest is that I’m missing, but it’s simply not there for me. I’m really annoyed because I chose only one character to remain loyalist to see the ending. Unless I level another, I’m SoL.
Apparently there are a few points where you can change your mind. I missed the quest text to. The one I missed was in nazjatar. Making me a saurfang loyalist. I feel like a goober. But it’s kind of neat that they’re there.
Which are these points? That’s rather annoying. I’m sure I probably missed one at some point too, especially after being told by the questline “do what you need to do and we’ll know you’re doing it to look like you’re going along with them” kind of thing.
So after you do the play along quest with nathanos. The wiestline you get in nazjatar to rescue Baine you have to go tell nathanos again. If you don’t, you’re a sour fang loyalist
So I did wind up leveling my bank alt to try to do this correctly, however was hoping people here would also remember something else for me… Where is the quest “A Way Out” started from? Since I’m replaying this with a character not heavily played, I’m worried the “A Way Out” quest (which opens the decision to side with Sylvanas) might be locked behind either rep I don’t have or a long zone quest chain I haven’t done.
(The war campaign quest I’m on now is breaking Ashvane out of Tol Dagor.)
I’ve been focusing on only the war campaign quests. I have those and a lot of Zul’dazar zone done. I also have Naz’jatar open and will open the WQs there (but intend to stop questing once the WQs are open). When I tried to look this quest up, I didn’t see it listed anywhere in the WoWhead guide to the war campaign…
