Because the client keeps saying it’s only usable on windows 10 and above. I’m using windows 11. I don’t understand what’s happening. This started yesterday. How do I fix this?
Post a DXDIAG report. It’s possible that either you’re on an old build of Windows like 21H2 or your GPU drivers are out of date. Sometimes Windows likes to be lame and overwrite your GPU drivers with old ones. I’ve been hearing a lot of reports of it happening to AMD drivers lately.
It’s got something to do with my battle net client. When I launch the game manually my dx12 option is there. I did a dxdiag and dx12 is definitely up and running. I also reinstalled my Nvidia drivers using a clean installation.
Try disabling “use browser hardware acceleration” option in the battlenet launcher and make sure that WoW doesn’t have any “additional command line arguments” game-flag options set.
If neither of those fixes the problem, you’ll need to post a DXDIAG report. Otherwise, you likely won’t get any further help. It contains all the Windows build and driver versions, along with errors.
