I used to be able to breeze right through dungeons 10 levels lower than me solo but since the level squish a level 50 is just as tough as a 60 it seems. I’m on my pretty decently geared 60 Hunter trying to do these dungeons and just can’t take out the bosses but not long ago I did the Dark Iron Dwarves dungeon thing with the goblins just fine with worse gear.

Yeah I hit 60 and still couldn’t get the silly dungeon requirements for that quest chain (Kul Tarian) done without a mage (also 60), and we barely got it done then. At the time I thought it should have been easier, now I know what was wrong.

I just ran into this wall yesterday. I had actually let myself get excited about finally unlocking Kul Tiran, but now I’m just really disheartened once I realized I couldn’t do it solo.

More problems because of scaling seriously this is getting ridiculous like not being able to get old legion raid transmogs is annoying but not a huge problem but literally stopping people from getting allied races because of scaling is just ridiculous blizzard really needs to do something

is it a normal dungeon or a heroic dungeon that you tried it in? or did you try setting it to mythic?
The reason is, dungeons with a scaling difficulty might be harder than dungeons with a fixed difficulty. at least leveling 50-60 dungeons felt harder than their shadowlands heroic counter parts.
Its doable but your going to have to wait til atleast the 2nd raid tier for it to be a cake walk thats the way blizz has always done it.
Or they could just give them away. Which should have been done day 1 of SL.
They are now official races since the war is over. And they are still around. . We are now all mall walkers even. Blood elf or mechagnome, cow or kul tiran…all are mall walkers now.

Honestly they really should of I took a massive break early legion and didn’t get back into WoW til like late BFA and I really don’t want to go back just too unlock those elves

Its Mechagon and it automatically sets it to heroic. I’m guessing that’s the only or at least easiest mode you can do it on.Seige of Boralus it’s probably the same.
can a leveling character 1-50 do mechagon? if so it would also be scaling. that’s what i would try to avoid. is the mythic lock out set to lvl 50s or can lower level players no do those too. 
I was able to get Kul Tirans unlocked but only because I was playing a Blood DK and it took forever to do Tol Dagor and Waycrest. Especially the Tree Boss in Waycrest that stuns you and has a ramping damage buff.
Not only do they still make you do the achievements to get these races, but you have to do them on both factions and the scaling completely skews the difficulty in doing so

This is simply not true. You have never had to wait for the 2nd tier raid gear to be able to do dungeons 10 levels lower. A fresh max level character has pretty much always been able to do the past expansions dungeon content, with the exception of BC to Vanilla

Before were not kneecapped 60 lvls and max lvl was enough to face roll previous content. You will need to get 2nd tier LFR gear min to face roll like the old days.

Like I said it’s not like the old days lvl 60 means nothing in how they did the scaling you will need gear. Unlike older content where legion and below is like lvl 35.
I’ve seen people in SW trying to pay people to help them unlock these races.
Blizzard is being ridiculous with scaling…

Just tell them to wait til LFR tier 2 it will be a cake walk again. They should scale world rewards by then also.
I tried for 4 hours this morning trying different ideas and specs etc It just can’t be done solo at least not on a non tank/healer class.
