I can't stay connected to the beta long enough to even get TO an instance

So… supposedly if you’re inside an instance, you don’t get kicked every 2 minutes.
I’ve just wasted about half an hour trying to move a character to an instance and I can’t even stay online long enough to do that.
Character was in Pawdon village.
Tried flying to Mogu palace. I got disconnected just as the palace got into sight.
World server down.
A few mins later, I get back in… and I’m right back at Pawdon village like I didn’t even move.
Tried again, same thing.
Finally got back in, I tried hearthing. Used the hearth 5 seconds after logging in but it took over a minute for the spell to actually cast. Went to loading screen. Stuck on blue bar for about 5 minutes, then “you have been disconnected from the server”.

The beta is shamefully unstable. It’s not worth wasting any more of my time on. I’m not going to try logging into it again until there is a blue post saying that the constant crashing has been fixed.

If you make a 90 there is an ethereal guy in shrine that just teleports you instantly

Yeah… the character is a 90. Went to jade forest to randomly kill mobs to feel out the rotation. Now it’s stuck there and I can’t get it out because the game is so unstable.

Hearth and take the portals out. You can do that in 30s.

Blizzard’s servers being terrible is absolutely inexcusable, but there’s no reason to be helpless. Blizzard won’t fix it. They don’t care.

I DID try to hearth… as i said in my original post. It took about a minute between the animation happening and the actual effect. Then i got a loading screen which lasted about 5 minutes. Disconnected me. Logged back in right where I started.

Keep trying. You’re getting rolled back because of the server going down, but that usually means your CDs get reset, too, including the hearthstone. The character selection should still work just fine, so you can sit and spam Enter World until it no longer says “World Server Down”. As soon as you’re in, do what you can to get out of Pandaria.

I’ve been in Orgrimmar for the past few hours without a single disconnect.

usually a minimum of 5 minutes (standard time for the faulty game server to logout your character after crashing on you). You can spam, as noted elsewhere, but for me that became too frustrating.

I have largely ceased with the attempts to beta test on the Pandarian Continent (currently in valley of four winds at Halfhill) until this game server (pve and from what I can tell, pvp as well) is addressed.
I am not into the raids or the dungeons at this point and given the instability of the game server itself, I see no point in pursuing even the attempt of entering a raid or a dungeon; reports indicate that this simply results in being disconnected before the queue (dungeon finder) or raid finder actually does it’s thing.
I just want to test the game play and point out any issues that might be coming up around doing the various campaign quests.
When the game server is not crashing (a few precious minutes) the quest lines seem to be in pretty good shape with some minor typo stuff…but hard to pin down due to game server crashes and getting put back in front of silver elites I had already killed 3 or 4 times (with pre-made lvl 85 Shaman) after quitting the game completely and restarting the game only to be put back in front of that same Silver Elite I already killed several times. At least the CD’s are being reset…for that I am thankful. As it stands I can’t playtest even 10 minutes without a game server disconnect of some sort (partial or full disconnects are all very common).

Understandable, but it won’t be addressed.

That’s still not fixed? I haven’t played the beta at all 'cause I was getting disconnected, decided to check on that today and your posts give me no hope of actually testing lol.

They don’t care.

Dear Blizzard,

Thank you for the opportunity to BETA test MOP, but unfortunately, I am unable to provide any real feedback on how the game will play to ensure a flawless launch. I do hope that you uncover the bugs that need to be fixed before launching, however it will be difficult given the current state of the servers always kicking players. On that note, so long, farewell, on to more productive things.

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking. There’s no way to help report bugs or anything in Pandaria outside of dungeon/raid, and the server instability has been consistent since I got the invite a few weeks ago. I can only imagine how awful the stress test in like 12 hours will be with the level of instability that we’ve seen so far.
