I messed up and went to the cave where you would turn in the quest and Ebyssian took his spot in the cave next to Sabellian, so i turned in Ebyssians quest without realizing i need his help killing the elites for Know thy Enemy. Now i cant finish this quest. not sure what to do.

No, you didn’t. Blizzard messed up. There was zero indication that this would happen and it shouldn’t work this way.
I am stuck with the same issue. Absolutely infuriating.

Same thing happened here, it’s important to note this should’ve been obvious when making the quest to tandem these objectives so you couldn’t turn in one without the other, just made it one quest with multiple objectives. Poor design, what’s going on over at blizzard?
I’m 100% unable to progress now due to an inherent flaw in game design.
After this many years at the table, simple things like this should be sorted out already.
