I can't open the Blizzard App

I’ve been trying off and on since noon Mountain time, but I get this error every time:

Cannot launch Battle net.

Required application data could not be found.
Please check your application directory and try again.

(I’d post the screenshot I have of the dialogue box but there’s no option for that.)

Why can’t I access the Blizzard App and how do I fix it?

That worked! Thank you so much!!!

C/Program Files (x86)/Blizzard App MUST BE deleted in order for the installation to proceed. (I found that out the hard way. lol)

ETA: This is Nelstari, by the way. I didn’t realize it had changed my character information.
