I Can't Keep Up. What's the Current State of Solo Delves?

Are solo delves still the same difficulty as they were before the hotfix or did they get harder too? Seems like opinions are all over the place.

Technically they lowered spell damage of mobs by 20% but that hardly affects anything. They’re overtuned and overscaled, in general. Most classes/specs can’t do the delve levels even with recommended gear ilvl.

Instead of hitting me for 150% of my health it’ll only be 120% nice

If you are in a group: More annoying and harder now
Solo: Mostly the same

I admit I am having some trouble but most of that is due to my pet (main beast master). If it would go places when told and not die in two hits that’d be awesome.

Solos are. Groups are harder in groups now, compared to Tuesday/Wednesday, due to bugged scaling that was fixed, or so blizzard says.

Seems like most of the complaints about solo might be isolated to tanks. Don’t attempt them as a tank.

I’m ok with the difficulty of them as tanks. I’ve been able to solo T8s as an undergeared tank and it was kind of fun. I was worried solo got harder after the hotfixes but glad to know they aren’t.

I did the Fungal one on my Warlock earlier.

I could survive decently if my Voidwalker lost aggro.

Waterworks? if Voidwalker didn’t have aggro I just died. Seems physical damage still hits like a truck.

These were T7s, Lock was at 560. Dev is 586.

i solo all my delves they were easy. They do make you use your healing spells and defensives. If you don’t then you will have a bad time.

Yeah I’m fine with the state of solos and was just worried they got harder too. But glad they’re not :slight_smile: I don’t mind a good challenge for heroic raid gear.

They should be harder in groups .
In raids the stuff scales up with the more people you have Delves shouldn’t be any different .

I think Tanks and Healers.

My suggestion is go in as dps but set your loot spec to what ever your main spec is if it is tank or heals .
