My hubby and I had not played WoW for a long time. Eight years for him, 9 for me. We thought we were done with the game forever, but when we saw we could play classic, we came back. That was amusing for a day, and then we logged back into our old mains just to see what’s up. Well, the end result is we have stopped playing Classic completely and have focused on exploring and enjoying all of the new content.
I finally got into Pandaria and was trying to grind rep to get dragon mounts, the Cloud Serpent rep for three and Shado-Pan rep for the black one. (Yes, we know you can grind Holuon for the thunder mount, but we would prefer the plain onyx one). Today, we logged in and flew to the Shado-Pan garrison to grind more Shado-Pan rep and Snowdrift won’t give us anymore quests. What gives? I’m on a mage (101) and my hubby is on his new DH also 101, and we can no longer have a chance to get the onyx dragon mount? We literally just did these dailies two days ago. We missed yesterday and came today and now can’t do them?
Instead of punishing players for not being here when things were new, how about encouraging returning players with a more welcoming idea of letting us catch up on all the fun stuff we missed! I left FFXIV cus I couldn’t get the things I wanted. Please, don’t leave me feeling the same way in WoW.
