I can't get out of Warmode!

Hi all!

I recently started playing on one of my old alts to level to max while waiting for season 2 which is my dark iron holy paladin. My problem is no matter what I do, I can not get out of warmode. I tried everything you are suppose to do and nothing. It’s been 5 days!HELP!

If the button doesn’t work, try the command
/run C_PvP.ToggleWarMode()

You have to be in a major city for your faction stormwind or org or the main city hubs like Dornogal and there is a 5 minute timer and if you load into anything at all like loading in and out of dungeons and such. Just wait till the timer is done after you uncheck warmode on the Talents tab when you push N

You have to be in a the faction capital or current expansion main hub to turn Warmode on.

You just have to be in any rested area to turn it off. Main city, small city, random inn in the middle of the forest. All of them work to disable Warmode.

Edit: OP, do you have the PvP toggle on your character? If you right click your character portrait in game, one of the options will be to enable PvP. Its different from Warmode somehow (not sure on the logistics, I don’t use it) but if they got toggled to on it could be the problem.

This worked for me. It’s a bug in 11.1.

To all the other people stating the obvious (be in a rest area), very unhelpful.
