I have been spending 2 hours in hinterlands which was a usual mining haven for me to go to mine mithril, but I can’t even get but 2 nodes a hour cause I don’t even know, blizzard please fix node spawn rates, mining used to be fun…
I have managed to level up mining (it was the worst profession I’ve EVER leveled in WoW).
Now leveling engineering with these nerfed nodes is hopeless. To level engineering from 300 to 375, I will need about 560 fel iron ore and 390 adamantite. In one hour I can farm MAYBE 10 fel iron and MAYBE 16 adamantite, if I’m lucky. It doesn’t much matter what zone I try to farm in. That is a minimum of 80 hours of farming ore. You can’t call this “playing” the game.
It feels very hopeless going all the way around Hellfire Peninsula and finding maybe one node. PLEASE fix this.
I understand this post is a few months old but I couldn’t agree more and I have tried to farm ore in Hellfire or Zangarmarsh with little to no luck finding any deposits. Unfortunately, it seems like the only thing Blizzard cares about is the revenue being generated by the amount of people subscribing to their new plan of 12-months (plus by other means).
