I can't do this any more

It’s been a long time coming, it really has. As much as it was something that I used to enjoy, now days all it does is just bring me down. It’s exhausting, tiring, it’s making me sluggish and really I think the best choice for my health is to give up soda.

Drink a cold fizzy one for me please.

It’s pronounced pop

good for you taking a simple step to vastly improve your health. Soda is nothing but a calorie bomb of useless carbs.

I passed 3 kidney stones last year and dropped the stuff completely. The ecstacy of a cold coke is nothing compared to the agony of pissing out a lump of solid torture.

No soda here for me OP. But I’ll drink this here coffee with rum mixed in it in your honor!

As an adult quitting soda was effortless for me, assuming you’re independent.

When you’re the one that has to actively pay for your own food all it takes is just a little bit of willpower in that moment at the store to just pass it over.

Buy a water filter for your sink or refrigerator if it has a dispenser and just drink that. Cost-effective and after awhile it just grows on you. About 4-5 years in of primarily water now.

I’ll take a nice black coffee any day. Soda destroys teeth, bones, brains, and it’s nothing but empty calories.

I just grab a giant mug of ice cold water
The occasional small drink of tea or soda.

Edit: buy a water filter, pays for itself!

I just opened up a can of Code Red Mountain Dew when I clicked on this.

It is pure delicious.

I gave up Pop (fight me Americans) 10 years ago.

Whenever I feel like having one I just have some ice cold water, works just as well for me.

Oh sure, but it is so yummy.

I am on a diet and can’t drink any so naturally it is all I want.

you can do it. When you feel a craving just drink water and tell yourself it’s really really cheap and bad beer :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been soda free for a year and a few months. I don’t miss it at all. Water, coffee and beer is all you need.

Gotta get my coke fix!

If I don’t have at least two cups in the morning there is no hope for the day.

It used to be 2 pots. Getting older sucks.

same, I needed it to make it through the day, but I’ve backed off a bit and don’t get the caffeine withdrawl as bad as I used to.
