The grind to get essences on my alts was what pushed me out of BfA content. Having to get cloaks on them all and do nothing but horrific chores for the entire rest of the expansion makes multiboxing sound like a fun life choice.
Yes he is. And no their being in the game before pathfinder is not besides the point. It’s the same thing…Matter of fact the old rep grinds actually were needed more then the ones for PF cause you dont need PF to engage in harder content like before…
People like you and all the others who try to thinly veil rep grinding into a post about flight makes me wish blizz would have stuck to their guns and got rid of it so these posts would be gone and so would the crying over “flight” which its not about that…

That’s what pisses me off about the way rep grinds work now. All obstacles to raiding are completely cleared, but you need to grind rep just to fly and/or roll a new race? It’s just a big F U to players whose preferred form of end game is rolling alts.

The issue is being an on again off again player. Someone who has played all the way thru, didn’t have to grind, they already had the reps just from playing. Just play the game, they will come. Stop focusing on the grind and thinking of it as a chore, and literally just play.
Unfortunately, it IS a chore, and was designed that way. Repeating the same content over and over again is not fun, it is, in fact, a chore.

The “Chore” is not the problem, the basis of gaming is. Maybe its time to find a new hobby.
Hang in there just a little longer. If you max out Nazjatar & Mechagon every day, you’ll be done in less than 2 weeks.
as much as it would be fun to have flying, I hate having a “to-do” list each day/week in a game I pay monthly for. At that point, it’s starting to feel like a job.

Nah, screw it. I switched to Classic. No more BfA rep grinds, essence grinds, vision grinds, AP grinds.
I’d rather just grind for gear the old fashioned way. I’ll stick to Classic. Hopefully I don’t have to buy Shadowlands to keep playing it.
Edit: I’d also like to add that the community in Classic is so f’king amazing. I love them. You actually get to talk to people in game again. Strangers become friends! BYE RETAIL BYE!
