Wearing a cloth hat in town (or heck, even as you level) wouldn’t be a big deal.
Just an FYI, you can drop ONE piece from the heirloom set and still get the full bonuses from it. My second Mage that I’m currently leveling isn’t wearing the Heirloom chest right now and has all the bonuses still.

Eh, I’ve always found throwing on another set of gear every time you go to town or log out to be an annoyance I’d rather not deal with.
Heck, I literally got this character TL3 and made her my new forum main just so I could have these tattoos without throwing a leather chest on my Hunter on every log out.
Especially with how slow the Armory is updating lately, forgetting to do so is a pain.

I do have to admit, that hat really does go perfectly with the mog. I think the only person that pulls off the witch hat better is Gallows.

Ah, that’s cool. I tend to avoid addons though, since they tend to break. I used a ton back in BC and it got to be a pain to manage them.
