I am perfectly happy with classic as it is.
Layering doesn’t bother me, in fact i prefer it. I hate having to wait for enemies in an area. Removing layering will make it worse

The vast majority do enjoy it… its the very very few that post on these forums that complain and whine… everyone else is having the time of their lives!

I spent 10 minutes saying, out loud, to myself, this morning, “F this GAME!!!” then continued to play lol. It wasnt my fault, i blame the Murloc who killed me!

In preparation for classic, I replayed all of WC3. I love how that flows right into WoW. It really makes the quests, and locations more immersive with the backstory fresh in my mind. Like the area in Ashenvale where Grom died freeing the orcs from the burning legion. Or fighting the remnants of the human Navy on the shore of Durotar.
It has sucked me back in almost as bad as it did 15 years ago.

I think the only people who are losing any sleep over all this stuff are just people who either have very weird priorities or very little to worry about.

I… wouldn’t use the forums in order to discern how much fun people are having with the game. Most WoW players don’t even come here, and most of those that do (as far as I can tell) only do so to flame/bait and troll-post. I think damn near everyone, myself included, is loving Classic so far.

I had a similar thread to this earlier this month. The general consensus is salty people come to the forums and those not salty about Classic are too busy having fun to bother coming here to post. Which is why it’s just a sea of negativity here.

The people who are so vocal about how “ruined” the game is because of these exploits most likely have not been affected by them in any way whatsoever but just want to cry about something.
It reminds me of that John Steinbeck quote about Socialism.
These people don’t see themselves as average-poor WoW players, they think they’re just temporarily embarassed WoW All-Stars.

99.56% of all players are enjoying the game (trust me, i am on the internet).
Only the small portion that have a gripe come and make a post about it.

I’m enjoying it. In order to maximize my enjoyment, I’m playing ten different toons of various races and classes so that I can experience as much as possible… just hoping that it doesn’t get redundant, though…

Yeah, it’s really hard to understand clearing content quickly to maximize your time spent playing.
Everyone understands cleave groups. People just don’t like them for biased reasons, that threaten the reality of how they think the game was back in the day. Despite the fact that cleave groups always existed.

I’m definitely having more fun with the game than retail. I’ve hit a bit of a wall with leveling progress though and have thought about taking a break.
I think a lot of people are hitting the same wall and reacting to it differently. If anything it’s made me realize that 3 weeks of playing 2-3 hours daily grinding dungeons is probably not sustainable lol
