I’m excited and I don’t understand the hate. Most speculated that the next announcement would be a season. I know people want classic+ but seasons have always been a good way to gauge what players like and hate without huge time commitments in case they ever do classic+
Changing the classes up and gatekeeping the levels sounds like an interesting idea. It gives you a chance to level different classes without worrying about everyone getting to 60 in a few days. Also they are adding new raids at the end of the gatekept levels which sounds interesting as well.

Will have to see the talent trees and details, so maybe aff lock or shaman.
Even if you’re unsure I would still recommend trying it, as it comes out nov 30th but if it really isn’t your cup of tea that’s fine they still will have era servers up playing the original way

that’s fair I know there’s not really a way to make everyone happy and I do hope they bring out more in the future.
Personally, the ability to create more unique classes adds to the rpg element for me, I always enjoy more customization.

Nah, I had it right. This seems to be preliminary testing grounds for your classic plus. throw stuff at the wall and see if it sticks.
The list of wants/requests for Classic + could rival USA tax code books. It’s best to use seasons to see what folks like and don’t like. I heard the last season wasn’t received all that well, so they have that knowledge under their belts now.
