So yeah… Basically, I can’t hear any of the NPC voice lines when I click on them or even quest text that has audio but none of them are playing out. I can only hear my own toon’s voice, like when I press an ability and they say that they can’t attack that or whatever.
Anyone else have it happening to them too???

Yeah lots of them either don’t talk at all, or only one of the npc talk while the other stays silent. Long time bug. Indie company.

have you checked your volume in the options?
can you hear other in game sounds?
have you tried using the repair option in the launcher?
have you tried pressing ctr-S (or maybe it’s alt?) to see if you’ve muted sound?
have you tried restarting the game?
have you tried disabling addons?
have you confirmed that the quest actually has voiced dialogue?
have you tried seeing if sound works on another toon?
have you tried restarting your PC?

Turn up your Dialogue volume, you may have lowered it in the past without remembering that you did.
I’m having the same problem, was fine yesterday.
Now…Can’t hear any of the npcs’ speech when I click them.
But, with my headset everything is fine!
I have the same settings(volume options and whateve) but for some reasons, my desk speakers don’t reflect that : /

they better not have silenced my BELOVED’S voice. I’m marching right over to boralus to make sure she’s ok.
Like Lorkhan said, try the scan and repair option, that did the trick for me! (^_^)/
