The vendor had the Spirit of Eche’ro mount for sale, so now I have my translucent moose mount, and if they ended it tonight, I’d be ok with it. Yes, it’s a slap in the face to those people who did Archeology, but since I didn’t, I’m ok with it.
I mean, I’m still playing - I’m not even level 80, and I like the streamlined approach of Remix (at least at the start), but this was the one thing I didn’t know I wanted, so I am officially happy.

Nice. I didn’t play during legion but that is one of the few mounts i came back and worked towards. Since i didn’t play legion there’s like 100 mounts for me, so it sounds like wins all round

Archaeology is an abandoned system. Why grind it out for ultimately no reason? Just get the mount with bronze y’all.
I don’t feel “slapped in the face.” The mount wasn’t difficult to get. And I enjoy Archaeology.

As someone who has never done archeology ever. I’m proud of your hard work and dedication getting this mount in legion remix. I’m sure the bronze took at least an hour or two of diddling. Time is money friend.
Why? I mean it was not hard to get and it just means I do not need to spend bronze on it during remix
I have a most of those Legion mounts Spirit included, and I don’t care that it’s on there. It saves another player the hassle of getting it and it saves me quite a bit of bronze already having it that I can spend else where.
honestly it took hardly any time to actually get it in retail, you just had to wait for that weekly to be up.
All the stuff I want is locked behind achievements and time gating so I have to wait.
For me it’s Taeshelekech, the Nightborne heritage recolor, and the Azshara dress
It took a little over an hour with archaeology. If anything I would say it was on shorter side for farming mounts.
If I never see that dumb survey tool again, it’ll be too soon.
