Imagine you come to SoD to play what seems like, for the first time in history, your class being close to the top. Nerf Bat second day. Nerf bat three times in the first week. Hunters are used to the abuse. The guy who invented the hunter was fired by “the parent company” and they havent known what to do with it since. He was a genius and they had to build all the other classes around the hunter, just to balance the game. Nerf me again when my Lone Wolf goes brrrr and all the other classes whinge that they cant find us cause no pets. If you abuse us with a nerf bat we will just respec and come even harder. HUNTER REVOLUTION BABY!!! MANPANTHER!!!

Hunter was one of the best PVP classes before any buffs. It’s obvious any buffs will make them OP in PVP.
Same as lock.
If your job gave you 500 bucks when they gave everyone else 300 bucks and told you you had to return 200 because it was a clerical error, does that mean your job hates you?
No. Sometimes math doesn’t work out and errors happen that were not anticipated to happen. Hunters are bringing back to center, that’s all.

The glyphs being boring or poorly designed I can completely understand. I’m not sur, I haven’t looked into hunter as it isn’t a class I typically try.
But it’s hard to argue the class is useless at the current level cap. There’s an awful lot of green at the top.

And yes. As an adult who has encountered such clerical errors, I’ve had to give money back. It’s what adults do. Understand there was a mistake and adjusting accordingly.
No you obviously don’t understand - warriors are by far the top dps in classic at 60, if Blizz suddenly just nerfed your class at 60 on era, are you fine with that? No. You’re not.
Exactly, Blizzard was massively stupid for not realizing that the buffs for this classes had to be tame or in fact not buff them at all and just give them sidegrade abilities that are fun to play because they never needed buffs in the first place.
Ok but the scorpid thing definitely seemed like it was just messed up values or something with how insane the ticks were.
Well in Classic Era I play rogue and on SoD I am playing mage, but I understand what you’re saying.
HOWEVER, just because hunters were roided up doesn’t mean they get to stay that way. If the class I played was egregiously over performing I would at least understand why they nerfed it and be slightly annoyed about it but not enough to troll forums over it.
Yeah, us hunters were silly in different ways. Nerfs were good. Balance will happen eventually.
All I see are devs going back on their word when they stated on camera that fun would be taking priority over balance.
