I came for the Kul Tiran Humans, and all I got was this lousy fog

Go scroll through the high elf megathread a couple times. You’ll get it tonight.

Alright. Im still trying to get used to these new forums.

Oh, I also just noticed, you’re from Aerie Peak as well! (Maybe that’s why you look familiar).

It’s a small server, despite its “high population” designation. I’ve probably seen you a few dozen times at least running around the world here and there! You might also be seeing a few of my auctions on occasion. Sometimes I’m too lazy to post with my bank alt.

The low population Horde-Side is the real reason I play in Warmode.

Well, at least you can still buy Alliance auctions. I’m so glad AH is cross-faction, because I couldn’t have survived most of the servers I’d been on otherwise lol

Like Ithaliane said, Blizzard makes their own decisions.

Probably didn’t fit the story line if playable Zandalari was released right at launch when we just met them. Also none of the other races were playable right at launch either - we had to gain rep first and do a quest chain. Some were since their rep was in Legion.

They’ve changed their minds on many other things in 14 years. I remember reading something in blue patch notes that never made it into the game…can’t remember, don’t care now.

So keep playing or take a break til whatever you want happens.

That’s why we have caveat emptor.

Why? It was common knowledge that not only would the Zandalari and Kul Tiran allied races be coming with 8.1.5 (literally known this for months) but also that 8.1.5 was not this week.

If you’re not willing to pay attention to the news surrounding the game, it’s really on you when you decide to hype yourself up with unrealistic expectations.

Heaven forbid people take responsibility on over-hyping themselves :stuck_out_tongue:

It would’ve made far more sense then it does now. Look, the Alliance have been complaining that this raid has little reason to be had since the Zandalari haven’t joined the Horde yet, and all this does is push the Zandalari into joining.

How could this be fixed? Having the Zandalari already apart of the Horde, like how it should’ve been. Need a story reason that would convince them to join? Oh yeah, you know, that one time we helped return the city back into the hands of Rastakhan after the Zandalar Forever Scenario.

To make matters worse, the Kul Tirans already pledged loyalty back in 8.0. All the new patch does is add a questline where you build a ship. Is that seriously what held them back? They just haven’t done anything for 7 months because they need to build a boat for Anduin first?

These are the kind of people they’re trying to pull a fast on and it looks like it’s working.

Yesterday was a TUESDAY

And they promised Zandalari trolls on a TUESDAY

So they lied! Ooh, I am so angry…so angry…

All of those races were available at launch. It says nothing at about KT and Zandalari.

… please look at the bottom of the left hand column in that pic.

That was a typo. The slide meant to say Mag’har orcs, the equivalent of di dwarves.

No… it wasn’t. They talked about Zandalari being released with Dark Irons.

So they made a switch and made the orcs available at release rather than the trolls. So what. It’s not false advertising and it’s not why people are upset. People are miffed at time gating in general, not just the trolls

I don’t remember saying anything about false advertising. I merely posted where they were announced. And they’re still not available. Even after their storyline is done and set.

Of course things change. That always happens. And no one said they were miffed at the trolls.

I feel like you may not have fully read this thread…

Definitely.
