I bought 3 months game time. Wanting to play wow again. Realizing it’s just endless grinding without ending, plus being forced to rerol every 2 weeks just to have a 0.0001% CHANCE to enjoy the game especially endgame. Hag yea it’s really sad.

Doesn’t sound like mmos are for you. “Endless grinds”? You mean like EVERY mmo? Why you just didn’t do 1 month to try after coming back is beyond me.

I did the same thing for 9.1.5. I was 5 mins in after the new customizations for my avatar… then was very dissatisfied with the rest of the game and have not logged in since then. I used to love this game, shadowlands made me loathe it.

I believe WoW to be in a very, very bad state right now. But I still consider it to be value for money. 4-5 hours a week, thats 20 hours a month for $14.99? that is good value.
It’s just that I wish I was playing 20 hours a week. WoW used to be good enough to make me do that.

It’s an MMORPG. There’s always a grind.
I don’t recall Blizzard ever forcing me to reroll.

Literally every single spec can do all content in the game

Hell of a deal!
The grind right now is nothing like past expansions. First of all vanilla wow took 11-14days played on average to even hit level cap. Tbc leveling 60-70 took an average of 3-5 days played and had a MASSIVE rep grind to unlock heroic dungeons.
Fast foreward to Legion, artifact power was one of the biggest grinds we’ve ever seen especially since it was separate for every single spec, as well as the legendary grind.
Bfa Azerite power grind was disgusting and mandatory to even use the loot you got, then it had the essence grind which was also massive and then the corruption grind which wasn’t as bad but still worse than Torghast has been.
Shadowlands is the first expansion people can actually raid log after a couple months since WoD, 3 expansions ago.
Legendarys are quite easy to get now since drop rates are near 100% in m+ I believe and definitely 100% in raid.
Renown honestly takes like 10hours playtime to get near capped which for a new player you have to do the story so you’re killing 2 birds with 1 stone there.
Then after renown the only other grind is for gear which every expansion has…
Having to do Torghast like 4 times for quests that don’t give any soul ash tho really does BLOW
So to insinuate that the grind is the worse it’s ever been by the words “super duper now” is just plain false lmao

This is the least grindy that the game has been since WoD, though.
