Very difficult in a battleground to keep multiple people up when you’re waiting for shield CD to get an atonement on them.
PW:S used to be spammable and in a BG it made trinity utterly broken. You spam your shields on the raid and then just spammed Purge the Wicked on everyone on the enemy team resulting in you doing a ton of healing to your entire group.
Spammable 30 second atonement should not be a think.
We should take out rapture and archangel combo if that’s your concern, gives the same effect for well in excess of 45 seconds.
The problem is when you just need to heal one person and can’t wait for the atonement.
Overall, I don’t know what all the hate is on Oracle, Voidweaver for disc and Oracle and Archon for Hpriest in PvP on these forums. All four specs play beautifully.
Unless something radical happens at max level, I don’t get it.
If the only gripe I can find is atonement locked to shield with trinity, I think it’s good right now.
